What data the site uses for accounts, portfolios, price alerts and live notifications, and the choices available to you.
Effective October 2, 2026. This policy explains what data Inside Wall Street processes, why it uses it, and how you can exercise your rights.
Inside Wall Street is an editorial project operated by Alex, a private investor based in Chile, and is responsible for the processing described here. For privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete data, email informacion@insidewallstreet.cl from the address associated with your account.
The information depends on which features you choose to use:
You do not need to provide a phone number to create price alerts or receive live broadcast notices. Price alerts may be sent to the verified email address in your session and, if authorized, as a web notification. Inside Wall Street does not ask for brokerage credentials or bank details and currently does not receive card numbers on the site. If purchases are enabled, the payment provider and subscription terms will be shown before a charge is confirmed.
Processing needed to provide the features you request is used to deliver the service. Optional notifications and communications rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Google sign-in uses Google account services to receive the basic information you authorize, such as your identifier, name, email, and photo, and link it to your account. We do not post on your behalf or access Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or other Google Account data.
Inside Wall Street also uses YouTube API Services through a private authorization from the channel owner. That connection checks active broadcasts on the Inside Wall Street channel so the site can detect when a live starts and notify people who requested it. It does not access site users' channels, histories, subscriptions, or activity. It keeps only the broadcast identifier and time needed to prevent the same alert from being sent twice.
The channel's renewable access token is stored as a server secret and is not sent to the browser. Data received from Google or YouTube is not sold, used for advertising, or shared except with providers that operate this feature or when required by law.
Use of these features is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. You may revoke Inside Wall Street's access from your Google Account connections page.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share only the data needed by a provider to perform a specific function:
These providers may process data in other countries and apply their own policies and safeguards. We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law, protect users, or defend legal rights.
Strictly necessary storage keeps sign-in, language, theme, and other local preferences working. It is not used for advertising. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and optional Vercel metrics remain off until you accept them. Meta Pixel remains off until you accept all categories; “Analytics only” does not enable it. You can reject both optional categories without limiting core features. Your choice and its date are stored in this device's local storage.
Microsoft Clarity helps analyze how people browse and interact with the site through heatmaps and session recordings. It activates only if you accept optional analytics. Clarity masks sensitive data by default, and input fields and dropdown menus remain masked. You can withdraw consent in Cookie preferences. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Meta Pixel is a campaign measurement tool operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you allow it, it may process technical data such as the page visited, referring page, browser, and advertising cookies to measure campaign visits. Meta handles this data under its Privacy Policy and Business Tools Terms. You can withdraw permission in Cookie preferences.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer. If you clear your browser's local storage, the site will ask again.
Services that connect directly from your browser —for example sign-in services, external sign-in, or embedded charts— may receive your IP address, browser details, and the feature you request. TikTok videos do not load until you press the button next to a video; when you do, TikTok receives technical connection data. When a data request is handled by our servers, the provider receives the necessary symbol or query, not your account identity. Each provider applies its own policy. Technical logs needed for security and operation may still be processed without optional analytics.
Chile's Law 21,719 on personal data protection takes effect on December 1, 2026. This policy will be reviewed before that date to reflect the obligations that apply to the service.
We keep account data and saved content while an account remains active or until you request deletion. Active alerts remain until met, deleted, or the account is closed. Triggered records and live identifiers are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to prevent duplicates, handle incidents, and keep the service secure. Notification tokens are removed when invalid or no longer needed for enabled notifications. Providers may retain backups and technical logs for their operational or legal periods.
We use access controls, authentication, server secrets, encrypted connections, and request limits. No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may disable notifications in your account and browser settings, revoke Google access, delete active alerts, and request access, correction, cancellation, or blocking under current law. From December 1, 2026, we will also apply the rights that take effect under Chile's Law 21,719. For an account-related request, email informacion@insidewallstreet.cl. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly seek to collect their personal data. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this policy when features, providers, or rules change. The current version and date will appear on this page. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice before it takes effect when required.
